iTheater

01610_400.jpg

"Watch movies in the privacy of your own head". The iTheater portable video glasses allow you to watch DVDs or play video games in complete privacy and immersion, creating a personal entertainment center with a 230,000 pixel resolution and surround sound. The glasses weigh a mere 3 ounces so they're lightweight and comfortable. Just plug the iTheater to any portable DVD player, video iPod, gaming console or computer. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack, but two AA batteries allow you to watch up to 6-8 hours.

It's not cheap at $499, but if you do a lot of travelling or just want to experience a movie without any other visual distractions, it might be worth checking out.

Available at First Street.
