Flowers, and especially chocolate are lovely Valentine's Day gifts, but if you can't be with your valentine, then sending some semblance of the tactile sense may be even more appreciated. Heart Warmers are gel-filled vinyl hearts that solidify and heat up when snapped. They stay warm for about an hour, so you can wear it near your own heart, or less sentimentally, on a bum knee. Boiling the heart after it cools brings it back to its original state so you can re-use it, but is symbolically a bit disturbing, of course.
