Cooking Mama

Cooking Mama is the name of a cooking game for the DS created by Japanese developer Taito. The game promises nothing less than to teach you how to cook. You will have to follow real recipes, but you can also experiment with your own creations. Like Nintendogs, all the interaction with the game happens through the stylus, which is going to become your cooking spoon, carving knife, spatula, ... you name it!

Cooking Mama is supposed to be released in Japan on March 23rd. Everyone else outside Japan who wants to learn how to cook will have to hope for an outside-Japan release; alternatively the game can be ordered from liksang.com for $59.90 (free international shipping).
