Clocky

clocky1_dec5.jpg

This moving target alarm clock is for extreme oversleepers who have trouble waking up in the morning. I can't imagine how moving a clock out of arm's reach wouldn't be enough to get you out of bed, but if you need more motivation than that, Clocky will roll off your nightstand and run and hide in a different place every morning and sound the alarm to make you get up from bed and chase it down.

Clocky isn't available yet and the picture above is a prototype but you can find all sorts of info on the website and get on a list if you want your own Clocky. Personally, I hope they make some improvements to Clocky's appearance, though it's supposed to look campy and fun. To me, so far, it just looks like a yellow astro-turfed tissue box with tire wheels.

There's also this one, which just seems insane to me. It's a
puzzle clock that doesn't stop until you've fit all the pieces back in!

jenna:

Yup, that's pretty insane.

Amy:

I couldn't imagine anything worse than having to leap out of bed and run around chasing after a clock! Funky clock, but personally I prefer something a bit more sedate, like the the Online Human Clock.
