Last year, Popgadget was a 2005 Bloggies (Fifth Annual Weblog Awards) finalist, in the Best Group Weblog category. It's that time of year again, and the 2006 Bloggies (Sixth Annual Weblog Awards) are here. This year, 151 finalists will be selected from those nominated, and 30 winners will then be selected from the list of finalists. Anyone can nominate their favorite blog in each category until 10:00 p.m. on January 10th (Eastern Standard Time). You can vote in all the categories and for Best Weblog of the Year. Finalists will be announced on January 20th, and voting will be open again to choose the winners.

We didn't see it coming last year, so it was a nice surprise to find out that so many of our readers had voted for Popgadget. And now that we know you're out there and following the Bloggies, we'd love for you to vote again this year by going to the 2006 Bloggies site (scroll down to Best Group Weblog category).
