OSIM iGallop

It's a well-known fact that horse-riding is an excellent form of exercise, but if, like me, you're too cheap and/or too much of a wimp to take lessons, you might consider springing for one of these. The iGallop supposedly mimics the trot of a horse, and promises "flat abs, firm behind and toned thighs". At a recent OSIM roadshow, quite unsurprisingly, the iGallop units seemed to attract kids in droves, rather than women interested in a shapelier figure.
The iGallop is available only in Singapore and Hong Kong right now.

Similar in concept is National's JOBA, which has a considerably more saddle-like seat. JOBA is available in Japan and Hong Kong.

I tried it out in my local brookstone store (Somerset Collection South, Troy MI).... it's a bit goofy, but after 5 minutes I did feel the same general muscular involvement. I guess it would beat the $35 riding fee 3x per week.

Tried this in a Brookstone, felt the burn the next day, and went out and purchased it! I'd rather ride, than crunch anyday!

Yeah, I've tried it as well and I think compare to similar models, the pricing for this model is pretty good. Compared to the price I've paid for horse riding lessons, this machine offers pretty good value. And better still, it's one price for the whole family use. Definitely worth it.

Tried it at Brookstone and after some extra instruction it beats having to do situps or the ball. All you have to do is just balance while lifting legs, bending, etc. A good way to enjoy core exercises and be lazy at the same time. I hope nobody likes it so the price comes down. Although,..!!

you know it as JOBA, that you are searching for.
Let me know if you are still
interested in it.

Tried the i-gallop today. Didn't think it was going to do very much, but after 15 mins on the product (tried the different modes: trot and gallop mostly, I found myself close to panting. It is a fun exercise equipment.
