iCandy iPod cases
The new iCandy video iPod cases are perfect for OCD owners who can't stand for even the tiniest bit of their player to go uncovered. There are many cases that do this, but usually at the expense of losing screen clarity or click wheel sensitivity. These cases come with a separate, thin and clear screen protector plus another protective film for the mirrored back of the iPod. After the first layer of prophylactic has been applied, you can put your iPod into the silicone case which has been treated with an anti-dust coating. The click wheel is covered, but is supposed to retain "full sensitivity". This has been a huge problem with every case I've used that doesn't leave the wheel exposed. There are opaque, translucent, and glow-in-the-dark colors. I'm not sure who would want to wear their 5 G iPod around their necks, a la the Shuffle, but each case comes with a matching lanyard.
iCandy cases are $24.99 at iStore.

This is the case I'm using (on an ipod video) - we've got a one-year-old so I wanted something that could be tossed quickly into a pocket or the diaper bag with no worries. It works great - and the click wheel works with no trouble at all (the silicon is super-thin there).
I don't know who'd use the lanyard either, but if anyone's thinking about it, you don't actually get a matching one, just a plain grey nylon one. One things that's not easy to see on their site - the back has two large slits for you to run a belt or strap through (that's why there's an anti-scratch sheet for the back too).
