BlackCoat now with integrated iPod controls

We've written about the Kenpo iPod jacket, and more recently Levi's iPod jeans. Koyono announces that their Spring 2006 line of outwear will now be integrated with controls for iPods. They've teamed up with Eleksen, makers of the wireless fabric keyboard as the smart fabric interface for the embedded controls in the jackets. ElekTex is an electronically conductive material that is flexible and washable, so your jacket will be washable as well. The first jacket, Koyono's BlackCoat, will debut in March for $179, with 3 other styles to follow (all for men as far aas I can tell).
So I guess it's a matter of time before everyone tries to get into the iPod clothing craze, ya think? We've already questioned the necessity for iPod clothing, so I won't get into it here. What I don't get is that since the controls look like they're inside this jacket, what's the convenience of having the controls integrated into the jacket itself??
