LED watches
For the longest time I didn’t wear a watch. Then I bought a Casio Film Watch off of ebay and got hooked on the retro 70s style. It didn’t hurt too, that the watch cost under $30 USD and in return I got tons of compliments from strangers in the street. Now I'm a bit of a watch kick. Here are a few LED watches I’ve been checking out:

This LED watch displays the time in binary. I’m not sure what I like more, the chunky retro shape or the tutorial for how to read it. Still as clever an idea as it is, I can’t see myself reading binary at-a-glance, and the background of the inner face plate doesn't appeal to me.

The Ibiza LED watch doesn’t display time in binary, but is still not necessarily easier to read. The product description says that at a button press the time is displayed for five seconds! What happens the rest of the time? (Well, there must be a way to conserve battery power, right, but it does not seem too user friendly.)

The LED Colored Lights Watch by Tokyo Time Evolution is my favorite in appearance. It also has the heftiest price tag. Still, it is much cheaper than buying a genuine vintage 70s watch from some online merchants.
