Clever choccies
New Zealander chef Vanessa Kettelwell and her graphic designer husband, Giles Barker, created these wittily-packaged chocolate bars that make you want to save the packaging, really. I have to admit that when I first came across them I was reluctant to believe that they could taste as good as they look, but by all accounts, this is pretty good chocolate.
Besides Bochox ("warning - may cause weight gain if used incorrectly"), there's also The Ultimate Balanced Diet, Magic Fairy Chocolate ("one poof and it's all gone"), Emergency Chocolate ("for immediate relief of chocolate cravings, lovesickness, exam pressures..."), and many more. The company also makes a range of New Zealand Tourist Designs that would make great souvenirs. Pictures are available on the Bloomsberry & Co website, but the actual chocolates are a bit tricky to get hold of unless you live in New Zealand or Australia (various websites), or Singapore (B&M shops such as TopShop).
