The Blooker Prize

Lulu.com, a site that enables anyone to publish and sell their own books, is the sponsor of the Blooker Prize, the first literary prize for books based on blogs, so called Blooks. The new literary prize is being launched today and its winners are going to be announced in April 2006.
Judges for the first Blooker Prize are Corey Doctorow from boingboing.net, Robin Miller from Slashdot.org and Paul Jones from iBiblio.org.
There are going to be three categories to submit your blook to: Fiction, Non-Fiction and Comic-Blooks (based on web-comincs), with one overall winner. Anyone who wrote a blook can participate, the only restriction is that it must be written in English.
A popular example of a blook is “Just a Geek” by Wil Wheaton (O’Reilly). Available on amazon for $10.85
