icovers

icovers.jpg

If you want to protect your powerbook or Cinema Display screens from dirt and dust, icovers might just be your thing. The imac and Cinema Display covers are made from a special textile called microdot that is durable and stain/water resistant. The powerbook cover is made of a durable non leather microsuede that is thin enough to close and double as a cleaning cloth. It comes in 4 colors, but other than the slate, I'm not sure why they decided to go baby pastel on the colors!

I just got a laptop and it drives me crazy to see that thin layer of dust settle on the screen every few days so these seem like a good idea. This also reminds me of a colleague of mine whose mother made him a special keyboard protector for his laptop, complete with crochet trim. You gotta love that.
