Door Stop Alarm

Apparently hotel doors make some people nervous. If you think that the "Do Not Disturb" sign is not enough, you can place this burglar alarm at the base of your door, and anyone trying to enter your room will set off its shrill, pulsating, siren-alarm. Other people trying to get some sleep in adjacent rooms will undoubtedly thank you for that.

I tried one of these once. It turns out housekeeping didn't like it. I found a broken door and a melted chocolate mint on my pillow when I got out of the shower.

Maybe I didn't use it right...
