Designers' strollers
bugaboo by... invites promising fashion designers to freely interprete the bugaboo stroller.
And -what an excellent idea!- the first fashion and accessory designer asked to transform the stroller is one of my favourite artists/designers: Bas Kosters.
The white strollers feature Koster’s drawings of ideal little families in a fresh, happy world... "A baby doesn’t choose its own stroller. You make a stroller for the parents, you want to draw on the love they feel for their child," commented the designer.

I would be embarressed to push this stroller around in public. The bugaboo has become such a status thing, good design or not, and this limited edition screams, "look how much stroller we can afford!"

This stroller looks ridiculous. I agree - I would be embarrassed to be seen pushing this around. And why pay $800+ for a stroller - even if you can?
