Nutrisoda "intelligent" refreshment
I'm currently on a quest to find something healthier than coffee or gallons of Diet Coke to keep me from going into a coma every afternoon. Water is the best and healthiest, I know, but I literally grew up in a 7-11 (my parents owned one), chugging endless free slurpees, so I always crave a little sweetness.
Nutrisoda is a low-calorie (5-15 calories per 8 oz. can) drink infused with vitamins and sweetened with Splenda. Most of the flavors are caffeine-free, with the exception of Energize, which has 50 mg, plus ginseng and the caffeine-like guarana. Although it's probably not much healthier, Energize's mandarin-mint flavor sounds a lot tastier than Red Bull, which to me has a metallic, medicinally fruity tang.
You can also get flavors like Calm (wildberry citron) with chamomile and valerian and Slender (pink grapefruit guava) which has calcium and chromium. Herbal remedies work really well for some people, so who knows. At least Nutrisoda isn't claiming their drinks can get rid of stretch marks.
Nutrisodas are available in 12-can cartons from airforce.
