LED Tea Lights
I love candles but dislike tiny tea lights for some reason so I think these LED Tea Lights are a great idea. Safer and longer lasting (60 hours on a single battery), they look just like regular tea lights inside a votive holder. All you have to do is just push a button!
Buy them at Modern Motive for $6.95

What a great find! I never did care for tea lights either and these LED's could easily take their place.

i have these! got em from a shop in amsterdam... they're great and cute, but being LEDs, they don't really illuminate as much as their original candle counterpart -- more of a spot of bright light on your table.

These have been at Target for about the last month. They're in the "college section".

I got a pair of the tea lights.. very cheap.. very cool looking. Not as bright as just a plain white LED though.. I might tear off the little plastic covers on the lights for a sharper light.

Ok, so I tore off the little plastic thingies that looked like flames. Now it's a bright direct beam. Had more fun making a cone of scotch tape about 4 inches and attaching it to the light, makes a very cool looking light.
If they had different colors of thingies to stick over the lights, that'd be even cooler. (as i'm painting one with an orange marker on the tip and yellow around the base...oooh now it looks like a flame. sweet!
