Adidas Y-3

y3_01.jpg

Fashion Designer Yohji Yamamoto known for his Y’s/Y’s for men and Yamamoto +Noir lines teamed up with Adidas for a new clothing line, the Y-3. This year’s Fall/Winter collection is pretty awesome and I advise anyone who likes a more sporty casual look to go check out the site … and if you don’t care about fashion, or Adidas, or Yamamoto, check out the site anyway and play with the cube, I found it pretty amusing.

“This season Y-3 is strongly influenced by Russia during its revolution, resulting in an apparel, footwear and accessory collection that is functional yet elegant, innovative as well as modern: Russia … Russian avangarde … Russian intellectuals … at the turn of the century … a time before the revolution … darkness filled with light and positivity …”

It was apparently Yamamoto who approached Adidas to initiate this collaboration and considering the result, I am quite sure the famous sport brand is blessing the day Yamamoto knocked at the company’s headquarters.

… am I the only one dying to sport this fake three striped foxy stole this winter?
