Big Head coasters

I love these j-me Big Head coasters. A gentle tap will knock over Big Head and he submits to holding hot beverages on his heavy head. They make me a little sad; they're like weird, polygenetic characters out of Tim Burton's imagination.
j-me products are available online at Gifts.co.uk.

Air Mattress for Pregnancy

Thanks to my dear friend Susie, who is expecting her second baby and who told me about this product, I now find the idea of getting pregnant slightly more appealing. In fact, I am a big fan of the stork myth. I would wish for a baby and there! ... it gets safely delivered by a bird, sparing me the gaining of weight, the swelling of limbs, the sleepless nights and the uncontrollable food cravings (which I already have the pleasure of experiencing anyway). But since every now and then I can actually enjoy a sound sleep, I was very relieved to know that at least I would be spared one of my many pregnancy related worries.
I found two different pregnancy air mattress models on this site, one for $149.95 and one for $99.95. My friend is getting the second one; I will make sure to ask her how it is after she has had sufficient time to test it and report back here.

College Furniture

Home Reserve is a newly launched web-based furniture company that allows you to order your furniture online and customize it by choosing the upholstery fabric, and then sends it fast and cheap at the given address, where you will be able to easily assemble it. It,Aeos pretty much the same concept that IKEA has, but with the most important add-on of online shopping. I have actually always wondered why it,Aeos taking IKEA so long to make that step.
Home Reserve has a special section dedicated to college students where you can buy ottomans, chairs, loveseats and sofas with built in storage space; and I can assure you the extra storage space can become very handy when you are living in a dorm room.
There is also a section dedicated to pet owners where you are advised to cover your furniture with a special fabric called Altima Pet Care.
We call it the Altima Pet Care line and it comes with built-in stain resistance. It,Aeos not something sprayed onto the fabric, but built right in. Pour coffee (or,AePuh,AePother things) on it and they just run right off. Won,Aeot penetrate. Everything can just be wiped up.
... something I am sure the college student will appreciate as well.

He's back and uglier than ever

Over 40 million Furby toys were sold worldwide in 1998. It was announced a few months ago but now we get the details: the horrible plush monster is back with 500 kilobytes of memory and voice recognition to respond to its owner.
It can laugh, smile, frown, gasp, yawn and express fear or boredom. If you ask Furby to tell you a joke, it will obey and really, I don't want to think about what kind of joke can come from that disgusting gadget.
Its back, mouth and stomach sensors respond to petting, feeding and tickling. A communication sensor in its belly can detect the presence of companion Furbies.
Available in the next few weeks for $39.99.
