Mooshoes stylish vegan shoes

For a long time, I wasn't much into shoes with high or skinny heels, especially anything that looked even vaguely like pumps -- too reminiscent of my days walking down fluorescent-lit corporate hallways wearing dark blue suits even on 100-degree days. I still hate pumps (where did that name come from, anyway?), but several years of walking around in sneakers and flat, manly sandals have given me a new longing for girly shoes. I like vegan shoes, but didn't think I'd find pretty, comfortable summer sandals from a vegan store. Looking at Mooshoes, I saw that they carry a nice selection of sandals and dressy shoes that could compete with all of the non-vegan styles I've considered lately (keeping in mind that my minimum requirement is that the shoes be of a non-disfiguring shape and height). The Noah Black above ($75.00), made by Novacas, are my favorite, though I'm more likely to buy the style below, the Uva Black ($85.00), by the same maker, because I'm a fast walker and tend to fly out of any backless shoes.

And when I'm back to my pure comfort mode (probably real soon), these flats, called the Ricky Black ($69.95), will serve nicely. These might also make good indoor shoes for those who keep outdoor and indoor shoes separate.
