Electrolux Ergorapido vacuum
I didn't think I could ever get so excited about a vacuum, but I just got my first serious, upright model, and it's changed my life. I had no idea what poseurs those little battery-operated hand vacs are. They are useless. But...the Electrolux Ergorapido is so stylish and sleek that I could easily find a place for it in my cleaning routine. It's a 2-in-1 so it can be used as a hand vacuum or as a lightweight stick. It's cordless and bagless and beautiful.
"Since this vac also functions as a piece of furniture, color is important," says Christer M/*nsson, Product Manager. "We feel the Ergorapido is like a piece of art that you display in your home, and chose these colors accordingly."
Still only in Europe, I'm afraid. (thanks Kristin!)
Update:
The Ergorapido is the Pronto in North America. I don't know if all the new colors are available yet in the US, but the vacuum is available at Fry's and at Sears. Thanks everyone, for letting me know.

I purchased the Ergorapido while living in Japan. I loved this little machine for cleaning my wood floors, but it didn't work as well on carpet.
I recently moved back to North America. I saw the Pronto at Fry's. It looks like the same shape, but the color is different. It isn't as metallic and stylish as the Ergorapido.
