Seatbelt bags
As an Italian I have been "taught" to hate seatbelts, to regard them as unnecessary and to wear a t-shirt with a printed seatbelt to fool the police when it finally became mandatory to fasten them. It won't matter that I never followed any of these teachings, after all I took my driver's license in Germany where seatbelts have been mandatory for a very long time; the point is that as an Italian I have it in my DNA to sincerely appreciate any alternative use of those "annoying and unnecessary" seatbelts. Harvey's seatbelt bags are one example of an alternative use of something ugly into a something cool and really good looking.
After visiting Harvey's seatbelt bags site, I realized for the first time that seatbelts can come in other colors besides the depressing black and beige of most cars and it got me wondering why car manufacturers wouldn't choose to have nice red seatbelts instead.
In any case ... you can purchase the seatbelt bags directly online, there are many models available ranging from $60.00 to $120.00 ... of course my favorite model of the seatbelt bag is sold out since it was part of a limited edition, but something tells me I won't have a hard time finding another one I like.
