Accessorize
I have newly discovered, or better re-discovered, one of my favorite stores: Accessorize. Accessorize is a British chain of accessories stores that has been around for a while (since 1984), just not here in Italy, where stores opened only in recent years. Unfortunately for me there happens to be one in walking distance from my workplace ... and there goes my monthly income.
I noticed that Accessorize, despite the fact that it has stores pretty much everywhere, doesn't have any in the States (at least according to their web site) and unfortunately its online boutique only ships items to the U.K. and Ireland; but maybe you know someone who can purchase the items for you and send them to you ... alternatively, you will know to look for the stores on your next trip to Europe.
Accessorize has really cute flip flops, which I became obsessed with in recent years and lovely hats, which I have been obsessed with my entire life. Not to mention bags, belts and all sorts of accessories, both for grown-ups and for kids. I can assure you that it is basically impossible to enter the store and leave without having purchased something.
Unfortunately, the online boutique doesn't have as big a selection as the physical store, especially when it comes to products that are not strictly related to clothing. For example, there are some cute stationary items like this kit for making your own cards. It comes with cards, envelopes and little bags of decorating material, like tiny seashells, sparkling powder, etc.
