Nintendo DS special editions -- part one

Who said that a different color or a different skin on electronic devices and gadgets wouldn't make a difference? I wished for months that the pink Gameboy Advance SP had come out earlier.
Well aware of how such a small change can make such a big difference, Nintendo continues its tradition of busting out new colors and skins for its products. Not too long ago I reported about the black and white version of the Nintendo DS; back in February as part of a co-promotion between Nintendo and Pepsi, special edition metallic-blue Nintendo DS were given away (in Japan only, where Pepsi Twist had just been launched). The newest, but certainly not the last, special edition of the Nintendo DS is the Electroplankton Nintendo DS. There are only ten available and in order to get them you need to go to the Electroplankton exhibit in Tokyo, fill out a survey and hope to win!
