Food Hangers

Some more report about the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

I went to the Satellite show to see the work of independent, young designers. There was so much good stuff I'll never be able to blog about everything.

Let's start with Yeon Ju Yang's nifty Food Hangers that are aimed to solve the problem of cupboards littered with half-full cornflakes cartons and pasta packets. You fill those plastic containers with pasta, rice, cereals or gums, mount them on the wall and when you need the content, just rotate it downwards, open the lid and pour the amount of food you need. And as they come in cute colours, they brigthen the kitchen as well.

In the same spirit, she also designed eco-friendly, foldable and compressible milk cartons.
