Turn fat into hot air

Mmmmm...fat...so good and so bad for you. Scientists at Seoul National University have developed a substance that melts fat that's been ingested, turning it into a pouf of hot air. Mice were fed an extremely high fat diet for 35 days, but the mice who were also given CMDD100111?CMDD101225 (why not call it something like hotfatbuster?) got just 14% heavier while the food-only mice got 53% heavier. The substance won't be available commercially anytime too soon; research and testing will take at least another five or six years.
