Sony PSP on sale NOW!

Sony's long-awaited Gameboy killer, the PSP, is out today. The PSP not only plays games, but will play movies on miniaturized little dvds called universal media discs. The first million PSPs will come with a copy of Spider Man 2 on UMD.

It's 5:00 AM EST and it may already be too late if you're not currently in line to get a PSP. There is a Furby-like frenzy to get ahold of one of the $250 handheld systems. Line up now before the stores open if you want any chance at all. The Washington Post reports that Target, Toys R Us, and Circuit City didn't accept pre-orders so those stores' entire stocks of PSPs are up for grabs.
