AnatomicFactory: Roll-tea and T-duster
A while back while reporting about the Twinings Competition I mentioned the Roll-tea project. I didn't go into detail about it then, but after getting in touch with the developers and looking at more of their projects I decided not only to talk about Roll-tea, but also about T-duster, my personal favorite.
Roll-tea is a new way to look at tea bags, to think of them as something you can bring along and share with your friends. Choose which one of your favorite blends you'd like to take with you and roll them into the roll-tea bag. The roll-tea bag looks very elegant and it reminds me of a jewelry pouch; it instantly makes the tea bags inside it look so precious, and I am sure it would be a great gadget for all the tea lovers out there.
T-duster, on the other hand, is an item characterized by its practicality. What can you do with on old worn-out t-shirt before throwing it into the garbage bin? Very easy, you tear it apart and use it as a duster. This is the whole concept behind T-duster, a t-shirt already predisposed for its secondary purpose. The punched lines will facilitate and quicken the ripping process, but mostly they invite the user to recycle the t-shirt before throwing it away when it can well serve other purposes.
