Augmented reality and a hotspot bloom

Gear Live reports about two interesting technologies: Total Immersion,Aeos D,AeoFusion software solution and the Hotspot Bloom. Total Immersion specializes in augmented reality technologies and its software, D,AeoFusion, allows for integration of 3D objects into real time video. To get a better idea of how this works check out the video.

Hotspot Bloom is a very fashionable flower shaped wi-fi detector that you can clip on your clothes, bags, etc. and that will signal when you walk into a range of a wi-fi hotspot.
Hotspot Bloom glows red in a location with a strong wi-fi signal, green to orange for a medium signal, blue for a low signal, and pulses blue if there is no signal available at all.
