RE-think + RE-cycle competition results
Swiss designers Zumbuehl Jakob and the formsons took an old broom, sawed up its stick and recomposed it with a lighting extension to make the Roombroom that "lightens hours of labour and leisure."
Trigo (means "wheat" in spanish), by Aviv Shany, is a recycled speaker made of dry bread and recycled garlic net (reminds me of the Paneluce).
That's just two of the surprising and nifty projects submitted to the MACEF design competition. Candidates were asked to design home accessories that work with the concept of RE-cycling (water, energy, metal, plastics, paper, glass, etc.). Check the results.
