PSP: iPod's new rival?

Could the PSP become iPods most feared rival? According to this article on TVG it could have a chance. Apparently there are rumors that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is developing a music service download.

It's claimed that the service will be rolled out during the summer, with plans to launch it as a means of downloading trial games and new content provisionally, but will then be developed into an advanced vehicle for other Sony products including music downloads.

Personally, I don't care about the music service download; as long as I can get my hands on a PSP, I will be quite happy!!!
