More than just "shoes"
Four days without posting anything about shoes. I thought I'd resist till next week, but a friend of mine informed me of the existence of the, mmmh, not extremely stylish soccer high-heels (via Shoewawa). I can't afford them anyway, Christmas flattened my purse so I might have to resort to DIY tactics to get trendy shoes.
So here I go again blogging about shoes.
British designer Rosemary Wallin created the KitShoe, the ,Aeouniversal shoe for all occasions,Aeo that come with interchangeable heels. Originally, they were made ,Aeoto add an element of fun,Aeo to a fashion show at the Royal College of Art in London. But they met so much success that her company, Kit Ltd, has been granted -#90,000 to develop its flexible manufactured uppers and its interchangeable-heel system.
By clicking the appropriate heel into place, a single pair of stylish, comfortable shoes can be adapted for eveningwear, walking, driving or work. (Via CultureLab)
North Sydney UTS student Sophie Cox has imagined something similar with Convertibles, the adjustable high heels for women. The simple twist/snap lock mechanism allows you to interchange heels in different sized heights. (Via gizmo)
