Soft-Serve At Home

Just when I thought there was nothing else imaginable that I could shove into my already overcrowded appliance garage, KitchenAid introduces the Pro Line Soft Serve Dessert Maker.
No more late-night runs to the local Tastee Freez and no more worrying that the soft-serve ice cream season is rapidly coming to an end. If not a little late in the season, this stainless steel beauty debuts in time to keep my sweet tooth from seasonal shutdown. What a treat (pun intended)!
Kudos for designing a machine that can make light low-calorie desserts, as well as sinful gourmet treats. Caution to the soft-serve purists, though... no two-flavor twists :(
Only $1199.95 at Williams-Sonoma.
