Slendertone No Sweat Exercise
Could it be that exercise machines that don't require you to do any exercise are making a comeback? This is what I was hoping for when I heard about these Slendertone products by Compex Technologies -- three different devices for toning your abs, thighs, and rear end. The Slendertone FLEX Abdominal Training System (Flex Abs) uses C.S.I. technology to stimulate nerves which cause your abdominal muscles to contract. Both men's and women's versions sell for $149.99. The Gymbody Abs Belt, for $89.99, appears to be a simpler version of the Flex Abs Belt. Then there's the intriguing Flex Bottom and Thighs Toning System (Flex BT), for $199.99, which is a pair of shorts with the same electrical muscle-stimulating device for your butt and thighs.
You can see virtual demos of these products on the Slendertone website. Also, read about how it works, and the results of clinical trials which showed improved muscle firmness and strength. According to information on the company website, you should see results after daily use for 4 t0 8 weeks. It's said to create an unusual, but pleasant sensation -- a mild pulsing, followed by a tightening of the muscles.
