Motorola M500 5GB MP3 Player

It doesn't have a chance to overtake the iPod Mini as the small hard drive music player of choice, but the Motorola M500 has some nice features if you're willing to consider iPod alternatives. The M500 has 5 GB of storage, a gig more than the Mini. It plays mp3, wma, wav, and Audible files and has an FM tuner with FM recording. Best of all, the rechargeable battery (also used in Motorola mobile phones) can power the M500 for 25 hours. You also get a music pack with 20 pre-loaded and unspecified "music hits".
Available for $229 ($20 less than the Mini) at Radio Shack.
