VarioPac CD Cases
Out of about 1000 CDs I own, I think at least 900 of them are in broken cases. Those cheapo "jewel" cases are so flimsy that I used to sell more empty replacement cases than actual CDs when I worked in a record store. It's a conspiracy, I know it is. Who makes those things?
These VarioPac CD cases are so much better, flexible and transparent, but also almost impossible to break thanks to the extra-elastic recyclable material Metocene. There's also an ergonomic lever so that you can pop CDs into players without having to wrestle them out of the case.
A box of 70 cases is $50 but these really should be the standard. Who can I write to about this?
