Slamdance has added a game competition to their 2005 film festival. Game developers who have received less than $25,000 in sponsorship are eligible. The jury will be judging games in the categories of graphics, sound, A.I. , and originality. Finalists will be flown to Park City, Utah for the festival where their games will be showcased and made available for attendees to play. All finalists will get all-access to Slamdance's screenings and parties. Winners of the two first-place prizes, the Jury Award and the Audience Award, will receive $5000 in cash and prizes. Games can be submitted by disk or by URL until November 14th, 2004. The early deadline is October 1st. There's a $49.99 entry fee.
