PetsMobility: Cell Phones for Dogs
I won't pretend I've never asked to speak to one of my dogs on the phone but I imagine they were just as responsive as Sammy here, who's just received a call on his PetsMobility Pet Cell. Sammy looks utterly puzzled and will surely start to wrestle that collar off once he realizes where that disembodied voice is coming from.
Alright, so I don't believe there will be many stimulating conversations taking place during a Pet Cell call, but there are some useful functions. There's GPS locating if your pet gets lost, and a button on the phone that will dial you if someone finds your pet. I just worry that any dog sporting this collar will become a target for mugging (not to mention ridicule from the neighborhood dogs.)
From Engadget, where they also covered a new dog camera today.
