iGo Autopower 3000 Series for Portable Electronics
Sad to say, but I live in my car. I only come home to sleep, and when I do, my first priority is to plug everything into their chargers so that my cell phone, PDA, and MP3 player will be ready to go the next morning. Once in awhile, I forget this ritual, and the next day is a tragedy. I have a car charger for my phone (at least I think I do - there are about seven chargers in my glove compartment, so who knows), but not one for my iPod mini (which runs for about 5 hours and then sadly abandons me to the noise of traffic). I've been meaning to get chargers for my other devices, but I have a strong distaste for accumulating more power adaptors that, sooner or later, I won't be able to identify (something that doesn't seem to bother some people I know who make cocoons of these things).
I noticed in a shop window the other day what may be a solution to my dilemma - an iGo Autopower 300 Series, a universal DC adaptor that uses interchangeable tips to power up almost any cell phone, PDA, MP3 player, or digital camera.
Available for $24.99 from iGo. I'm picking up mine at the local Radio Shack. Tips are sold separately.
