Chain Store Spin-Offs

The Gap is planning a new chain store for 2005, something for women over 35 and code-named "Gap Pro" as it will be targeting professional women.
Williams Sonoma, the upscale kitchenware store just launched Williams Sonoma Home, for understated classic furniture that can be custom-upholstered and delivered within 45 days.
What I'm actually excited about (and can actually afford) is the new Crate and Barrel store, CB2, full of furniture and household accessories that have cool designs but are inexpensive, kind of like a mix between IKEA and Chiasso. They've got tons of great media storage cases and bags, like this CD wallet that holds 200 CDs and is just $20.95.
