Bathroom Billboards

Now that tv watchers can easily watch commercial free TV with a PVR like Tivo, and avoid ads with popup blockers and spam filters, marketers have gone after a truly captive audience: the full-bladdered in a toilet stall. Two restaurants in Arizona recently installed Flash Ad enabled LCD screens by Allover Media in their restrooms. Nintendo had success with this type of campaign when they plastered public bathrooms in major cities with urinal mats printed with the URL for their game Conker's Bad Fur Day. GoGorilla has been providing companies with printed toilet paper and electrically charged vinyl posters that cling to bathroom mirrors.
From The Arizona Republic and AdAge.
